A few fun facts about me: My mom was a huge music fan growing up, so she decided to name me Stevi after the singer Stevie Nicks (hence Stevi Nicole). In 2012 I discovered a fitness format called "U-Jam" that I quickly fell in love with. There's just something about music and dancing to free your mind. For me, it's one of those workouts where I look forward to getting to the gym because it doesn't make it feel like I'm working out. Right before COVID hit I became a member at ILoveKickboxing (now called KickHouse) and LOVE being able to take a long day out on the bag! Last fun fact... I am absolutely terrified of sharks but jumped into a cage in the middle of the ocean in Hawaii as sharks swam around the outside of the cage for my 30th birthday... I'll never do that again but it's cool to say I did it once!
On staff w/the Tracy Learning Center's Physical Education Department since 2008, starting at Discovery, I joined Millennium in 2013 as the Assistant Athletic Director and became the Athletic Director in 2014. In April of 2017 I was 1 of 3 Sac-Joaquin Section ADs awarded the Norm MacKenzie award from the CSADA. In 2022 I took a step back from the world of Athletics and rejoined the Physical Education team in full force.
The goal of Physical Education here at TLC is to help provide our students and families with the tools to be active participants in lifelong fitness. There is something out there for everyone to enjoy that involves physical activity. Have you found what gets you up and moving?
